New Zealand Legalizes Hemp Seed as Food
New Zealand Legalizes Hemp Seed as Food

We are extremely happy to announce that at long last the law around the sale of hemp seed for human consumption has finally come into effect . On Monday the 12th of November 2018, New Zealand will legalize the production, sale and consumption of hemp (cannabis sativa) seed as food.

This is fantastic news and will ensure all New Zealanders will be able to enjoy the delicious taste of hemp seed and experience the multiple health benefits of the nutritious nutty seed that has been safely consumed around the planet for thousands of years.

We will have hemp seed and protein powder products available for sale right here in our online hempshop from early December, as that is when we have been advised by MPI that the law change will have come into effect. We look forward to providing you all with the highest quality hemp (Cannabis sativa) seed products from both New Zealand as well as all around the planet.

I can’t believe it took them this long to approve, its not like you can get high from the seeds.
